The Big Chill a Big Success

LPCA hosted an ice cream social on October 5 in Laurel Green Park.  The event was free and featured not only ice cream but great music by Tom Brown/One Man Band.  Approximately 100 people enjoyed ice cream, socializing, a beautiful day, and great music.  We welcome feedback as to whether we should do this again next year, so feel free to let us hear from you.

LPCA’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING AND MUSIC PROGRAM IN LAUREL GREEN PARK ANOTHER BIG SUCESS!

On Sunday, December 7, 2014 LPCA held its annual Christmas program.  The program began at 3:30PM in Laurel Green Park with a performance by the award-winning Hendersonville High School Jazz Band directed by Fran Shelton.  This entertaining performance was followed at 4:30PM by a holiday musical performance by the YouTheatre kids from the Flat Rock Playhouse.  Refreshments were provided and we even had a special visitor!  If you missed it this year, plan to come next year.  It is sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

                                                                Mark Your 2015 Calendars!

LPCA's board has selected Saturday afternoon/evening, May 23 2015 for our next LPCA concert event at Jump Off Rock.  We are working on the details of this event.  For a change, we will likely depart from Bluegrass music for the 2015 event and we'll probably have an oldies/beach music group or something similar.  In any event, it will be another fun event at Jump Off Rock, and we hope you will make plans to attend!  More details to come.
